An old favorite is being brought back to life...Pat's Hall! A great dance hall both inside and outside under the giant oak tree will reopen April 2012.

One of our fine wineries around Fredericksburg, Torre di Pietra, will be having its Blackeyed Pea and Cornbread Cookoff on Janurary 1, New Years day at the winery.

One of the top wineries in Texas since 1977, Messina Hof has opened a second location in the Hill Country just East of Fredericksburg. We visited the new location with owner, Paul Bonarrigo.
